Grandpa's back! He was on a cruise for his 80th birthday. I haven't actually heard from him since he returned, but I think maybe this is his way of letting me know he had good time. I deleted all that forwarding debris for your viewing pleasure............................
This is cute. I don't know how folks figure all this stuff out. Enjoy...................

He is going to be doing something with the computer in the control part of the ship.
How are you doing sweetheart? You must be so very busy, I understand. I'm hearing, on the news, how people are wanting to get tickets to see the "coronation". Oprah says to get in touch with your congressman to ask for them....or have you already tried???
I'm doing the same "stuff"...going to church, doctors, food shopping....very exciting adventures!!!
I'm happy that Mom is seeing Samuel. She says she laughs more with him than she ever has. They seem to be compatible. I think he is nice also. He treats her very well and that's what's important. She is so busy with school that she comes home tired. I spend the day in my room, it's very comfortable. I only go in the family room for a little while if your Mom's home. I can't get comfortable in my new "lift" recliner. The technicians will pick it up on Tuesday to put more stuffing in the front of the seat. That means we won't see it for a couple of weeks which makes the family room look so empty.
The house is very quiet. Guess I'll do some reading or watch a little TV.
Take care of yourself and I'm looking forward to seeing you, Uncle Jack and Sarah for Christmas. Frank joined the Navy and will leave the first part of December for his training somewhere in the mid-west. He is going to be doing something with the computer in the control part of the ship. I think that's what Uncle Jack said.
Lots of love and God bless you.

IM from Mom
MOM: You'll be happy to hear that the white death they predicted didn't happen. We woke up to sunny skies.
MOM:Channel 5 has a really annoying new weather girl. They booted Derek back to the early morning. This woman is terrible. Dad also pointed out that the weather's sucked since she came on the air.

Grief-stricken
Dear Ryan
Just a quick note to let you know that Grandpa and I are absolutely bereft
at the outcome(s) of the recent election. I am eating for comfort and he is
unable to eat at all. Woe is us! I hope you feel duly responsible for the
harm you have wrought.
Love Anyway, Grandma
PS. We are soooo looking forward to your Christmas visit. What are you up to
til then?

Bannana Boat
Bananaboat-thanks for the mail. There is a world of wonderful articles about the aftermath of the election and I have read some of them. I had'nt read Judith Warners so thanls again. I checked some newspapers from around the world within minutes of declaring the winner. The best to my mind of the headlines was from El Mundo of Madrid: " Obama- El Color de la Historia" Anyway, we'll talk this week I hope-Thinking of you-Dad
